10 years! and Yellowstone!

Eric had his 10 year high school reunion on 8/9.  We decided to make the drive to Star Valley, Wyoming for the event.
We took hwy 93 so that we could stop at signs and learn a little more about lewis and clark.  We had hoped for a little more excitement. it was beautiful though!
8 hours later we made it! We stayed with Eric's sister Sharon and her husband Steve and our niece Isabelle.  It was a lot of fun!  Kids usually have a way of bringing out the kid in me!  The reunion wasn't too exciting.  it was nice to meet some of Erics friends and hang out with them.

As you can see, it wasn't hard for them to take to their old ways.  The tough guys on campus!  After spending a day with Sharon, Steve and Isabelle...

we decided to depart into the wilderness and drive by Jackson Hole and the Tetons and into Yellowstone!  It was so beautiful!  Words cannot begin to describe its beauty and all of the incredible formations we saw.  These pictures will never do justice to those beautiful sights.  But its worth a shot! Teton National Park

pretty self explanatory
these are everywhere, and beautiful!
OLD FAITHFUL...and it was!
Morning Glory.  this isn't man made. Does that blow your mind?!

It stinks worse than I make it look!

the trail down to look up at the fall..
the stairs just kept going and going.  The whole way down i was thinking, "we have to climb every single one of these steps back up and then hike the rest of the trail.  Total there were 300 steep steps up.  What a workout!  We had so much fun and I really want to go back.  I feel like there was so much more we could have done.  We just ran out of vacation time.  I don't know, ... something about work and paychecks?  I highly recommend this trip to everyone!

My little niece Tasia!

This is Tasia!  She just experienced her first day of school!  She is in kindergarten!  I cannot believe that she is old enough to go to school.  She is a sweetheart and I miss her so much.  Love ya tater bug!

On July 22nd Eric and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary.  We had so much fun.  We stayed in a cabin on Flathead lake and then decided to take our bikes up to Big Mtn ski resort and ride them off the top of the mtn.  It was a Blast!  The other pics are of some waterfalls (Morrell Falls) an hour or so from our home.  They are beautiful and breathtaking. (pictures don't do justice)  We hiked up to them and then camped by the trailhead.  We made tinfoil dinners and s'mores and what not.  It was a very fun weekend.  Hope you enjoy the picture overload and keep looking below this post for other fun and exciting adventures!

Here are some pics of the past month and the fun we've been having.  The months of June, July and August outdoors and the beauty of September, October and most of November are what makes the 6 months of gray sky and cold worth living here in Montana!  Warning:  this may be picture overload.  I can't post slide shows for some reason!
