Snowy play day!

Eric decided to put his initials in the snow. It was pretty fun helping him. How creative! I wanted so bad to find my inner child, so I decided to make a snow angel for the first time in a long time. It was fun! Then we decided to take a few pics of ourselves in front and back of our apartment, because what would a slide show be without us taking at least one pic of ourselves? Hope you enjoy the snow from afar!

Hope you like our party!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR WATCHING! Before you hit play you must first go down to where our slide show with Jack Johnsons song is playing. click on the little picture of the music video and a screen will pop up. Push pause, so you can't hear the music and then watch our awesome Christmas party! XO

home SWEET home

Eric and I started a gingerbread tradition for ourselves after Thanksgiving day. Thanks to the local candy store, we were able to find rock candy to make our house a home. We also found this cool Christmas tree and had fun decorating that. We will soon post some pics of our own Christmas tree. I love it! I hope all is well with the visitors of our blog! We're thankful for our friends! Until next time, enjoy the SWEET pics! Sara Roberts

a very special time.....

Well as you all may know, the day after Thanksgiving was a very special day for me! It was spent celebrating and having fun. It has now been 13 years since i was diagnosed with Diabetes! I wasn't in the hospital at this time, but the doctor in Overton told me i was diabetic that day! At any rate, I'm very grateful for technology and the ease of now living with this disease. After 13 years the doctors say that my eyes are barely off perfect, and if they had to tell if i was diabetic by testing my feet, they would never know it! (I've known other people to look at my feet and say, "yep, she's a diabetic!" ) :) In all seriousness, with just a few close calls, things are going pretty darn great! Thanksgiving was good. We spent it with friends here who were also unable to travel home. It was fun and i love our friends so much, so that was nice, but it never compares to being with your family. Just not quite the same, but a nice distraction. Boy oh boy! Missoula sure is cold right now! We actually had a warm day today. It made it to 29 degrees and its only 19 right now. That is the warmest its been for a week or two! It is making the holiday season come to life here. With the snow and what not, it is so beautiful. We've just put up our Christmas tree and the lights on the balcony. we'll be sure to post those pics soon. For now, here are some pics of the beautiful snow here. Until next time, keep in touch!
much love, sara

the former traveling life of Eric and Sara Roberts

I have been promising Eric that I would post our traveling pictures on our blog since we started it. I realize, it seems that everytime I post something, it comes with a slide show. I'll try not to do that so much. It can get a little overwhelming. The only warning I can give you as you watch this is that there are A LOT of pictures. So, needless to say, this slide show might be a little long. Only watch it if you are interested and have a spare couple of minutes. ENJOY!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hello to everybody! Tonight is halloween night and it doesn't even seem like it! Lets see! Last night we tried to carve our pumpkin and when i took off the lid, the inside was green and white. I don't think thats ever a good sign. EVER! So we through out Jack. Then i went to work this morning with a sore throat and I think I told one person and the next thing I knew, the supervisor was sending me home. Which brings me to the next thing. We were supposed to go eat dinner with our friends tonight and go trick or treating with their kids, but we figured they wouldn't like me passing around the sore throat junk. So here I am on Halloween, typing away at the computer. It is so fun! :) We haven't had one trick or treater either. Anyone want some Halloween candy? I actually have a diabetes luncheon/presentation i'm going to tomorrow. I'm thinking of taking the candy to that! :) The pictures are of Eric and I after our ward halloween party. Eric is a playa hayta, just keepin it real. I am his high school girlfriend from 11th grade. (he wishes!) The next picture eric looks like Syndrome, that boy character from the incredibles. I just refer to my picture as peggy sue! I think she's hot! until next time, Happy Halloween!

Whew!!!...

Okay, so i got these pictures on the computer finally. I didnt really think i'd be that busy in a new city, but that's what i get for thinking. I thought i would show everyone how beautiful fall is around here. We are losing the leaves faster than we'd like, but man are they pretty. I also thought i'd throw in a few extras. In one of the pictures, Eric is wearing his white coat. This was just after the white coat ceremony and unfortunately, the room where the coat was placed on him was too dark, so my pics didn't turn out too well. You'll notice that in that picture there is a big M on the hill. This, of course, is for the University of Montana. We decided to brave the mountain and go for a hike last weekend. Well, apparently we haven't been hiking lately. What shouldn't have killed us did. There were a lot of switchbacks, but they were steep switchbacks. the view from the top was beautiful and we'll be sure to put those up next time. I also promise, mostly for Jill, who has asked me numerous times, to put pics of our apartment on the blog. It is an awesome wide open apartment and we love it so much. Very comfortable. There are a few pics of the trees that have the rail of a deck in them, or the view of an apartment on the third floor. that is the tree right outside our window. It was beautiful. However, if i show you a picture now, you wouldn't say the same. The leaves are almost completely gone.
Today it was, i think at the highest 50 degrees and it is only going to get colder. I hope this desert rat can take the cold. We'll see.
I hope you enjoy the pictures with the promise of more to come. Until next time,

sara

As promised....

hello to all our visitors!

Welcome to our blog. Here we plan to let you in on all of our family fun. And by family, i mean Eric and me. We have recently relocated to Missoula Montana so that Eric could attend Pharmacy School. So far, so good. We absolutely love it here in Missoula, however, me being a desert rat, go ahead and ask me in about April when things start to thaw. i'm not used to anything that resembles winter, so this should be a challenge. i'm sure you'll hear all about it. Eric and i have a new computer that we'd highly reccomend to anyone. We will post some glamour shots our iMac is able to take. let us know what you think! until next time....
