Pics of the twins @ 32 weeks & 1 trip to labor and delivery!

Thats right. I have made it to 32 weeks of pregnancy with all going well and then comes the hospital visit. I have been put on official bed rest, although it does not seem like it is too strict of a order. I am able to shower, walk up and down the stairs in our house, sit up sometimes (which explains the current blogging) and go for rides in the car. That one hasn't been approved by the doc, but i'm sure he'd think its okay. :o) It all started last wednesday. I got to work and couldn't stop having contractions. They put me on the monitors and asked how often i thought i was having contractions. I said 5-10 minutes. the nurse told me more like every 2-5 minutes. YIKES! So they ran a few tests and sent me to L&D (labor and delivery) to be monitored more closely. I was freaked! was I going to have these babies at 32 weeks? I got there and my blood pressure was high! (imagine that? you tell me i am probably going to have these babies today, and my blood pressure is high?! I can't believe that.) So they monitored me for 2 whole days. Labs, babies hearts, and my contractions. I have lower than normal platelet counts which could be a concern for pre eclampsia. They are keeping close tabs on that and I get to watch for unusual swelling. Like if Eric walks in the room and says, "Sweetheart, you look like a Macy's day parade float." Then i know we have cause for concern. So now comes the bed rest and the hurry up and wait game. All is well and i'll keep everyone posted as much as i can haul my cookies up the stairs to the computer! These are the most recent pics of the little stinkers. I don't have a scanner so these are pictures taken of pictures. I hope you enjoy!

Profile of our stinkin cute boy!
This is his chubby face. You can see eyebrows and cheeks and the poor little guy is going to have his mommy's nose!
Two heads are better than one. They are cuddling in this picture. or at least getting five minutes of uninterrupted eye contact! (funny if you watch baby mama)
This is our little girl side ways. She wasn't feeling very photogenic. Her little chin and cheeks are all the way to the right of the piture. and you can see her nose and an eye socket or two!

I can't wait to meet your little two. It will be tons of fun. My baby is crawling everywhere so I hope you have fun chasing two. At least they will entertain each other. I love watching them when my 3 year old decides to play with his sister.

Maybe even 24 what else, movies are always great or you could pick up on things on You tube and learn how to crochet or something... Ha ha no you are doing so great oh my goodness I can't even imagine having two what a trooper and you still look so pretty. I am so glad the babies are ok.
